Happy World Diabetes Day!

Happy World Diabetes Day!
Hey everyone! November 14th is World Diabetes Day, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate the drop with the entire diabetes community! Please join us for a day-long Twitter chat: #WDDchat17.

What is #WDDchat17?

#WDDChat17 is a day-long Twitter chat beginning NOVEMBER 14 at 6AM ET where people with diabetes from across the world can connect in recognition of World Diabetes Day. Two members of the One Drop team -- Mary Elizabeth Adams and Rachel Sanchez-Madhur -- have the honor of hosting from 10:00 -11:00 PM ET! To join us, search for hashtag #WDDchat17.
Our Twitter Handles: Rachel: @OneDropRachel Mary Elizabeth: @OneDropToday

What's going to happen?

For the full hour, we'll be talking about the future of diabetes technology and what we hope to see. Here's a preview of some of the topics we'll be discussing:

Aside from a cure, what is your # 1 hope for the future of diabetes treatment/technology?

Take us through the rest of your wishlist! What else you got?

Do you think #PWD and healthcare providers (doctors, nurses, etc.) would have similar desires?

...Where would they overlap?

...Where would they differ?

Is there any diabetes technology already available that you hope to start using within the next year?

Come with questions! This session is for all of us, so we're in no way limited to the topics above :-) And, if you can't make it to the One Drop hour, drop in whenever you can. The chat will be going on all day, with topics ranging from stigma and burnout to advocacy and technology. There's something for everyone! Hope to see you all there! To participate, just add #WDDchat17 to your tweets!
